What We Do

To raise awareness and funds for mental health systems strengthening in lower- and middle-income countries, Miles for Mental Health (M4MH) produces high-quality educational content that is easy to interpret, digest, and act on. M4MH raises the stakes by producing and delivering this content while driving on treacherous, off-road routes across the continental United States. With every obstacle that M4MH navigates, M4MH amplifies the messages of otherwise underserved and underfunded nonprofit organizations.

M4MH has advocated for mental health in a variety of off-road settings, and you can learn more at the following links:

How We Do It

M4MH’s founder has been an off-road enthusiast and navigator since 2020, and he has learned from strong off-roading communities across the United States in developing his knowledge of how to traverse dangerous off-road routes. M4MH’s founder uses a Jeep Gladiator to climb mountains on federally-recognized trails, in National Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management territories.

M4MH’s founder is a dedicated public health leader with a particular interest in treating mental health around the world, so M4MH taps into the unique and exciting content that off-roading enables, raising awareness and funds for mental health systems strengthening.
